  • 1. How to resign from trial services

    Check in the promotion rules, if the service you are using is a trial service. If yes:

    • go to the contact form
    • indicate the name of the service
    • select the resignation form
  • 2. How to resign from services – other cases

    You can send by letter a written declaration of your resignation from services, confirmed with the Subscriber’s handwritten signature, to the following address:

    What should the resignation letter contain

    • ID number
    • name and surname of the Subscriber (Individual customer) or company name (Business customer)
    • NIP (Polish tax ID number) – only in case of Business customers
    • address where the UPC services are installed
    • handwritten signature of the Subscriber
    • services subject to resignation
     

    Please also provide your contact phone number, email address and the reason for resignation.

    You can submit resignation also in a documented form, using the form available in the New My UPC or (only for individual customers) by phone - 813 813 813.

  • 3. 14-day withdrawal from the agreement - Individual customer

    If you have concluded or amended a remote Subscription Agreement or did so outside the Customer Service Office, you have the right to withdraw from it without giving any reason.

     

    Within 14 days from the conclusion of the contract or of receipt of the confirmation of an amendment to the contract, provide us with a statement of withdrawal:

    • in UPC Store
    • o by way of letter, sent to: Ogólnopolskie Biuro Obsługi Klientów UPC, ul. Murckowska 14c, 40-265 Katowice
    • by way of contact form
     

    Results of withdrawal:

    • within 14 days from the withdrawal return the equipment to UPC
    • a fee shall be charged for the use of services from the conclusion/change of the contract until the date of withdrawal
    • if, on the date of conclusion/amendment of the remote Agreement, you were using UPC services on the basis of another agreement, withdrawal from the newly concluded Agreement or the amendment made will result in your return to the use of UPC services on the basis of the previous agreement
  • 4. 14-day withdrawal from the agreement – Business customer
    • You can withdraw from your agreement within 14 days if you are a sole trader running his/her own economic activity (registered with CEIDG), and:
      • you concluded or amended your Agreement in a place other than our Salon/Point of Sale
      • you concluded or amended your Agreement at a distance (by phone, using the electronic form)
    • You cannot from your agreement within 14 days if:
      • you are a sole trader running his/her own economic activity, however, you concluded or amended your Agreement at our Salon/Point of Sale
      • you conduct any other form of economic activity

    • a fee shall be charged for the use of services from the conclusion/change of the contract until the date of withdrawal
    • if, on the date of conclusion/amendment of the remote Agreement, you were using UPC services on the basis of another agreement, withdrawal from the newly concluded Agreement or the amendment made will result in your return to the use of UPC services on the basis of the previous agreement
  • 5. Notice period
    • If you are currently under promotional obligations, or if you concluded your agreement without such obligation

      If your settlement period runs from the first to the last day of each month, and we received your resignation, e.g. on 20 July, your monthly notice period will run from 1 to 31 August. The termination of your Subscriber Agreement will be effective to us as of 31 August.


    • If you use the agreement after the promotional obligation period

      There is a 1-month notice period, e.g. if we receive your resignation on 21 December, we will terminate your agreement on 21 January.

  • 6. What to do with the UPC equipment

    According to the Terms and Conditions of Service, the equipment (digital TV box, modem, router) should be returned within 14 calendar days from the date of expiry of the Subscription Agreement – find out how to return the equipment.

  • 7. Do I have to pay for earlier termination of the contract

    In the event of a contract termination during the promotional term, UPC will seek the payment of claims in the amount of the relief granted during the entire contract term. This amount will be decreased by the period, in which the services were provided.
