Pairing the Horizon remote control with the set-top box

To fully use all the available functions of the set-top box, in the first place, it is necessary to pair it with the remote control. For this purpose, follow the below steps:

 

Step 1 - make sure that the set-top box is switched on. No items should be placed between the set-top box and the remote control (e.g. table, armchair).

 

Step 2 - pull out the yellow cap from the place where batteries are placed.

 

Step 3 - turn around the remote control so that the keyboard is faced upwards.

 

Step 4 - direct the remote control at the set-top box. Next, press and hold the pairing button for 10 seconds. During the pairing process, the padlock button will flash. Following this action, the remote control and the set-top box will communicate exclusively with radio signals. It means that it’ll no longer be necessary to direct the remote control at the set-top box.
